The Stables in Hannah

Sorry, we are currently closed.

If you have stayed at The Stables before you will know that we like to meet and greet our guests personally and with The Stables being next door to our home, distancing would be difficult. However, our main concern is that for everyones safety we would need to deep clean The Stables using full PPE before you arrive and being a small family run business this would be beyond our capabilities. We are therefore closed until a practical solution can be found.
Please email if you would like us to advise you when we are reopening.

The Stables is a two bedroomed holiday cottage sleeping up to 4 people and located in the rural hamlet of Hannah, in the County of Lincolnshire, which lies between the historic market town of Alford and the sandy beaches of Sutton-on-Sea. We are an ideal base for your holiday whether you want to stay in the local area or head further afield.

If you choose to relax and stay close to Hannah, Alford has antique shops; a twice weekly market; regular craft market; five-sailed windmill and Manor House to discover. Heading towards the coast you will find the quiet sea-side resort of Sutton-on-Sea and the livelier resort of Mablethorpe, both with wonderful Blue Flag beaches stretching for miles.

Or if you feel like exploring a little further afield we are also close to the Lincolnshire Wolds which are ideal for the rambler or cyclist. How about a visit to Horncastle with its many antique shops; or Louth, the Historic Capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds, both a half hour drive away. An hour's journey away you will find the Cathedral City of Lincoln with its shops, museums and eateries. Take a drive another day and you can visit historic Boston, the home of the Pilgrim Fathers' and the Boston Stump.

Finally who can forget that Lincolnshire is 'Bomber County' and we are ideally placed to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at Coningsby which is just 45 minutes drive away. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, is the home of the only other working Lancaster in the Country and is also 45 minutes drive away.

All in all a holiday in The Stables offers you the choice of a relaxing rural retreat or a break packed with places to visit and things to do - the choice is yours.

The quite village of Sutton-on-Sea is just 3 miles away. The beach goes on for miles, there is a popular splash pool and childrens play area, you can also hire a beach hut for the day or week. The shops include Spar, a Newsagent and Post Office, along with several places to eat and drink.
