The Accomodation
Now a well appointed two bedroomed Holiday Cottage The Stables was converted from a 100 year old
'Range' in 2009.
Downstairs, in the living room, we have two seater and three seater sofas, 32" Freeview TV and
DVD player. Leading off
the living room there are French doors out onto a paved area which is ideal for sitting out on a warm evening. This
paved area looks onto the secluded garden, which is gradually being developed into a wildlife friendly area.
The kitchen-diner is fully fitted and equipped with a gas hob (with extractor over), electric fan oven, microwave oven,
fridge/freezer and washer drier. In fact all the comforts of home! There is a dining table with seating
for four.
The main bedroom is a double room with bedside tables and lights, double wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and
chest of drawers. We also provide for your use an ironing board, iron and hairdryer.
The second bedroom is a twin room with a chest of drawers with light and mirror and a double wardrobe
with drawers under. There is a frosted window to one side and Velux roof light above.
The WC/washroom has the toilet at one end of the room and a hand basin with shelf and mirror over it at the other
end of the room. There is also a heated towel rail under a Velux roof light.
The shower room is a fully tiled shower unit which sits under the eaves of the building. (So those of you over about 6'
or so may need to duck a little!)
The Stables is located in the grounds of our family home, and to access it you will park in our drive; then follow the
path around the front of the main house through a gate onto the paved area outside the cottage.
The cottage has its own garden which is laid to lawn, has various rose-bushes and a lilac tree around the edge and a small pond.
